Upgrading your Newton 2000 to a 2100 will allow you to run more applications simultaniously, browse the internet, email and overall increase productivity with Your Newton.

Upgrade Procedure:

1. Remove all cards, battery pack, and stylus; Pack your Newton 2000 well padded in a durable cardboard box.

2. Ship the Newton to us with the following marked on the box:
   "RETURN for REPAIRS" & "No Commercial Value".
   Ensure that you make a value of $0 on the box to avoid any delays in customs.

3. The same day that we receive the Newton 2000 we will upgrade the unit with 2100 Memory ICs
   .

4. We will ship back the Newton in the same box that it was initially shipped in, normally same day with tracking so that you can follow the package online as its returned to you.

5. Open up the package and enjoy your Brand New Newton 2100 unit.

The resulting newton that you receive will be functionally and identicle to a Newton 2100 unit. The OS will be the latest and most reliable OS that was ever written for the Newton platform. The internal memory will be maxed out at 4mb RAM as compared to a Newton 2000 unit with only 1MB of internal memory.

Increased internal memory will improve the reliablity of the unit and require less reboots due to 'lack of memory' system errors.

Replacing your Newton 2000 housing with a 2100 will make the unit look sharper and more distinctive as compared with a Newton 2000 unit.
Note that this is an elective replacement. If you should choose to keep your existing Newton 2000 housing we will not replace it with one of a 2100 unit.

While your unit is being upgraded you also have the option to install the Newton
